[Product features and applications]

    Hydrated silica, the main composition is SiO₂, is white, pure, amorphous, porous, large surface area and hydrated. It is a fine chemical product,characteristic of indissoluable, thermostable, electrical insulation and high dispersibility. It is mainly used as rubber reinforcement and filler, to improve their elongation, tear strength and resistance to abrasion. The rubber products made of hydrated silica feature transparency and semi-transparency, so it is a special raw material for making light- and multi-colored rubber products such as high-grade hiking shoes, sports shoes, rubber tapes, tires etc. Hydrated silica is also widely used in the industries of plastic, paint, ink, paper, pharmaceutical, daily chemicals and food because of its non-toxicity and smellessness.
